CQM 5112/5113/5114 Adjustment. 144-170 MHz (1-6 channals)
Below You will find the original pages from the service manual.
It is possible to adjust the radio using simpler methods and simpler instruments.
However, a small probe for measuring the RF-voltages is essential,
because most adjustments must be performed with the metalcover in place.
The Storno RF diode probe 95.0089-00 is specially designed for this job, it is slim and long enough
to reach through the small openings in the cover, down to the measuring pins.
The probe can easily be copied using a long, slim piece of printboard,
with 2 bushings at the end to fit the measuring pins in the radio, a coupling capacitor,
a simple dioderectifier, a resistor and a decoupling capacitor.
A standard multimeter is used as indicator.
A RF-signalgenerator, a frequency counter and a powermeter will be usefull.
